The "1982/83" truck, , is titled "THE FIRST TRUCK", because it is an exact replica of the 1933 Chevrolet Fuel Oil Delivery Truck first driven by Leon Hess, the founder of Hess Oil. (This is not to be confused with the first toy truck,a long tanker delivery truck that was issued by Hess Corp. in 1964, ). The "82/83" features a rubber oil delivery hose that pulls out of the side and easily rewinds on its spool. A switch underneath the truck operates the working headlights and taillights. The truck measures approximately 11" in length.
